Our Story and Team

THE operation

When veterans first get home, they can be overwhelmed with work, school and the daily grind of family life. Often times they end up going through treatment for P.T.S.D and substance abuse as a result. Many scientific studies have been done on the benefits and stress relief of vacations such as camping. Operation Veteran Vacation provides veterans the opportunity to reconnect with life outside of combat and combat related stress through resources and support for PTSD, substance abuse, and the ultimate goal of providing a fun, family vacation to better re-establish connections to their loved ones. We hope to take the pressure off of the veteran and the family through low-stress environments that allow the family to bond before returning to day-to-day life issues.

This became a driving force and inspiriation to create Operation Veteran Vacation, to help others truly return to the families they love.
